The Modern Foreign Languages Department seeks to develop:
In French, in Year 10, there is an opportunity to go on an exchange visit to the Limousin area in France. The Staffordshire Limousin Exchange programme has been running since 1976. Its main purpose is to bring together secondary students aged 15-18 from high schools in Staffordshire and Limousin. The exchange provides an opportunity for young people to experience life in France and in England in a family context, at a reasonable cost, accompanied by a team of experienced and well qualified staff. The MFL Department is also looking into organising a Spanish exchange in the near future.
