It is with great delight that I am pleased to announce that we are able to provide our students with the opportunity to participate in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
One of the guiding principles behind the D of E is that you choose your own programme, your own challenges, your own areas of personal development to achieve your Bronze, Silver or Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award..
I would be grateful if any parents/guardians who participate in any of these activities, would contact me so I can build up a database of places and/or people who would be willing to pass on their knowledge to our young people, all such information would be securely held within school.
If students do decide to take the challenge and demonstrate the commitment and determination to complete an award, I can honestly say that not only will the students have amazing experiences and adventures, parents and guardians will too!.
