Wolgarston High School is one of the founding members of Penk Valley Academy Trust, ourselves along with 4 of our partner schools joined together to create a trust that works with us and for us. We are extremely proud of what has become a strong, stable and supporting trust that schools want to join.

Wolgarston High is known for its academic ethos and high standards, consistently achieving some of the best results locally and nationally in GCSE, A-level and BTEC. Alongside other schools in Penk Valley Academy Trust, we follow a research-based approach to teaching and learning described in Professor John Hattie’s Visible Learning.

Our sixth form is one of the best. It offers a wide range of rigorous qualifications and opportunities for personal development to open the doors to the best universities and careers.
