Welcome from our Head Boy and Girl

Head Girl - Phoebe Foster

I am currently Head Girl here at Wolgarston High School. I am a year 13 student studying A level Biology, A level Psychology and Double Btec Sport. Alongside these subjects I decided to seize the opportunity of doing an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). This qualification involves writing an extended essay on a topic of your choice, mine being Physiotherapy as this is what I hope to study next year at university. Prior to Wolgarston I attended Penkridge Middle School and Princefield First School, so I understand that many of you may be worried about the jump to high school as I know I was when I was in your position. Before attending Wolgarston, I was a very shy individual and didn’t often step out of my comfort zone but as the years have gone on, Wolgarston has helped build up my confidence and learn not just academic skills but also social skills which I believe to be so important when transitioning into a GCSE and A level student.

Head Boy - Tom Edge

I am the head boy here at Wolgarston high school and sixth form. I have been a student at Wolgarston since year 9, now I’m currently in year 13 studying A-level Psychology, History and media. I wish to study psychology at university after my A-levels and one day become an educational psychologist. I believe that community is an important aspect of any group, especially our community at school. As head boy I will push for positive changes in our community by listening to what students and staff alike want in our school.
