Key Stage 3

Our Key Stage 3 Curriculum (Year 9):

We offer a 3 year Key Stage 3 curriculum which we believe is important to ensure students have developed the broad knowledge and skills needed for success in Key Stage 4 and beyond. We work closely with our feeder schools to ensure the transition from Year 8 is well sequenced, coherent and ambitious.  Year 9 students follow the KS3 national curriculum before choosing their GCSE options for study in Years 10 and 11.

Key Stage 3 subjects

Maths, English Language, English Literature, Science, French, Citizenship, PE, Religious education, History, Geography, Art & Design, Music, Computing and PSHE. Students study Design & Technology through a rota of Graphic Design, Computing and Food & Nutrition.
